Professional Mover / Driver

McCorquodale is seeking motivated and responsible individuals to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll join moving crews, ensure smooth operations on job sites, and deliver outstanding service to our customers.

• Load and unload furniture and other items safely and efficiently
• Ensure items are securely packed, transported, and delivered without damage
• Drive company trucks (manual transmission) to and from job sites in a safe and timely manner
• Train and mentor crew members on proper lifting techniques and safety protocols
• Serve as a point of contact for clients during moves, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed (training provided if necessary)
• Enforce compliance with all company policies and safety standards

• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean driving record required
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to pass a background check (100% clean background)
• Experience driving manual transmission vehicles
• Previous experience in moving, delivery, or logistics (preferred)
• Ability to join a team in fast-paced environments
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work throughout the day
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Expected hours: 40 per week

Shift: 8‑hour shift (Day Shift required)

Pay: $18‑$23 per hour (depending on experience & driving ability)
