Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Project Architect to join our award-winning architecture practice.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects while working in a collaborative, design-driven studio environment. As part of a 14-person firm, we pride ourselves on design excellence, technical rigor, and a high level of professionalism in everything we do. Our work spans residential, commercial, and custom projects, with each team member empowered to take ownership and make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

* Lead and coordinate projects from Schematic Design through Construction Administration.

* Prepare and oversee Construction Documents with precision and detail.

* Participate in submittal reviews, RFIs, and site observation throughout construction.

* Collaborate with and support senior architects while mentoring junior staff.

* Interact directly with clients and consultants with professionalism and confidence.

Essential Skills

* 5+ years of professional architectural experience.

* Professional degree in Architecture (Bachelor's or Master's).

* Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite.

* Solid technical expertise in both design and construction documentation.

* Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.

* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Architectural registration preferred.

* Experience in residential, commercial, or other sectors such as retail, hospitality, multi-family, mixed-use.

* Familiarity with drafting, design development, and schematic design.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Birmingham, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

401k match, they pay for half of the healthcare, PTO is based on exp - will go up to 4 weeks if the exp is there..they understand the candidate will not want to go backwards in PTO.
