Piper Sandler is recruiting undergraduate students for the 2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Internship Program in its Birmingham, MI office. The program lasts 10 weeks, includes one week of formal training near our headquarters in Minneapolis, MN, and offers networking events. Summer analysts are placed in the Services & Industrials sector.

Summer analysts learn financial modeling, basic analysis of companies and industries, and the dynamics of capital markets. The internship is a direct pipeline to full‑time Analyst positions for the following year.

• 10‑week internship in a specific industry or product group

• One week of formal training at the Minneapolis headquarters

• Networking events and potential full‑time Analyst offer for 2028 analysts

• Anticipated graduation in December 2027 or May/June 2028
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another business‑related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Willingness and desire to learn
• Prior finance and accounting coursework or self‑study is beneficial
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future

Anticipated starting salary is $110,000 per year. The position includes annual incentive compensation, and total compensation will be competitive with the market.
