Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales and profit objectives within assigned territory.
  • Contribute regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans, budgets and reviews; prepare and execute action plans across the territory.
  • Lead the company’s efforts in sales calls, presentations, demonstrations, and proposals related to our products and programs.
  • Direct support resources in analyzing customers’ business and develop solutions to fit their needs.
  • Train, coach, counsel, and discipline employees in the assigned region; communicate job expectations; review job contributions; plan and review compensation.
  • Provide timely reporting of account and territory management activities to the National Sales Manager.
  • Drive and coordinate regular account planning sessions.
  • Protect and increase a profitable revenue stream with current accounts; seek expansion opportunities to gain additional accounts with existing or new products.
  • Maintain commitment to the company’s sales policies and procedures; represent the company professionally; uphold the code of ethics.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors and their presence in the assigned territory; identify new business opportunities.
  • Evaluate trade spending and implement promotions/incentives that accomplish regional objectives.
  • Communicate customer requirements and standards; identify improvement opportunities; help drive change.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Food Marketing, or related field required. At least 3‑5 years’ experience in food/beverage sales or related experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong direct personnel management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Flexibility and ability to travel extensively (including flying) as needed, sometimes up to 60‑75% of the time.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must have a valid Real  passport for travel.
  • Must be able to work in a safety‑sensitive position.
Physical Requirements
  • May be required to stand, bend, or twist occasionally.
  • May be required to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • May be required to push/pull carts containing product—occasionally up to 100 lbs.
  • Walking, reaching; use of both hands and arms.
