ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-driven individual to join a well-established and growing business based in the Aston area. This Account’s Assistant position is ideally suited to someone with a solid background in a similar role. Someone who is looking to further develop their skills within a stable & professional environment within a SME business.

Working as part of a small close-knit finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting function and ensuring accurate financial records are maintained. The role offers broad exposure across the finance function, with regular interaction with clients and suppliers and involvement in month-end processes.

Day to Day Duties :

Reporting to the Accounts Manager on site
Getting involved with all aspects of the day to day duties
Managing Accounts
Speaking to Clients and suppliers
Chasing payments
Accounts payable and receivable
Invoicing and Invoice chasing

Experience and

Skills required:

You must have 2-3 years’ experience in an Accounts Assistant role
AAT qualified Preferred but not essential
Experience using Access / Dimensions preferred but not essential
Be an advanced user of Excel , capable of manipulating data.
Feel confident working in a fast-paced and busy work environment allowing you to do your job effectively.
Exceptional organisational skills allowing you to track and maintain ledgers and your day-to-day tasks as well as having a strong eye for detail.
This will be a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate. Working Monday – Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm and Fridays 8.30am-1.30pm – 34.5 hours a week

Pay £16.50ph depending on experience
