Assistant Management Accountant & Credit Controller

Basic salary from £28, depending on experience.

The Role

We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant & Credit Controller to join our team in Vauxhall. The role involves splitting 50% into supporting our accounting team and 50% supporting our credit controllers. Based in Vauxhall with our finance team and supporting the wider business reach its long term goals.

Your Responsibilities as an Assistant Management Accountant & Credit Controller

Handling sales invoice processing including liaising with developers on details required for processing invoices. You will lead sales credit control and ensure sales invoices are billed on time and payments received. You will need to be able to have good attention to detail while dealing with your responsibility of preparing credit control reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Must be able to assist the management accountant with accounts payable, banking and month end reconciliations and further assist the team with ad-hoc accounting duties, auditing and tax related tasks.

Skills and Experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
  • Accounting/credit controller experience within an estate agency is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 50 or an accounting software is an advantage
  • You have a strong customer and employee centric approach, prioritising client needs and satisfaction.
  • You are proactive and take initiative to identify and solve problems effectively.
  • Positive attitude and keen to learn and develop their skills
  • You are able to manage challenging calls with professionalism, demonstrating strong listening skills, empathy and the ability to de-escalate difficult situations effectively.
