Senior Manager – Corporate Treasury Services

Join Deloitte’s Corporate Treasury Services team to support clients in delivering high‑quality audit and non‑audit engagements with a focus on treasury and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the delivery of high‑quality audit engagements from planning through to reporting, including specialist support for derivative valuations, hedge accounting, IFRS 9/FRS 102 accounting treatment and impairment models.
  • Manage the external audit of the Treasury function from end to end.
  • Provide specialist support to external audit teams and deliver non‑audit engagement services such as treasury accounting, governance, operations and controls.
  • Handle technical and complex accounting and auditing queries that may shape future precedent and industry practice.
  • Establish and maintain key relationships with the corporate client base with a focus on exceptional client service.
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation and transformation, developing the treasury audit methodology.
  • Contribute to the Corporate Treasury team’s strategy and identify new opportunities for Deloitte.
  • Lead engagements and develop talent, acting as a role model for Deloitte’s values and behaviours.
  • Manage diverse teams within an inclusive culture where contributions are recognised.
Qualifications
  • ACA or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Previous ISA and/or PCAOB audit experience.
  • Proficiency in UK GAAP and IFRS, including IAS 39, IFRS 9 and FRS 102 Section 11/12.
  • Experience in valuing financial instruments and hedge accounting.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the treasury function and financial reporting processes and internal controls.
  • Commitment to audit quality and professional scepticism.
  • Track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Solid leadership skills on engagements and in an office environment.
  • Experience motivating and developing high‑performing teams.
  • Capacity to implement solutions in response to regulatory changes.
  • Strong writing, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent time‑management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organisation, planning and project‑management abilities.
  • Experience managing engagement economics.
  • Active participation in business development, contributing to tenders and proposals.
  • Previous experience at similar level preferred.
