Main Duties:

As an Assistant Financial Accountant, your main duties include:

• Supporting the month-end close process, preparing balance sheet reconciliations and helping to identify and resolve discrepancies using the team’s dedicated close software
• Helping to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, ensuring balance sheet controls are properly applied, reviewed and signed off
• Assisting the Financial Reporting team with delivery of annual financial statements and monthly Group reporting requirements
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and completing monthly reconciliations between the general ledger and fixed asset records
• Working alongside CAPEX owners to prepare capital expenditure budgets and depreciation forecasts, along with monthly variance analysis
