Interim Management Accountant

Interim Management Accountant 3-6 Month Contract | Hybrid Working (1/2 days from office) | £225-£275 per Day (Flexibility for the Right Person) Gleeson Recruitment Group are exclusively supporting a growing and ambitious business to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for an initial 3-6 month assignment, with the potential for the role to become permanent. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful SME undergoing an exciting period of growth.

Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information and supporting the wider finance function. We're looking for a hands-on finance professional who can hit the ground running and take ownership of core management accounting activities from day one.

The Role Key responsibilities will include:
Production of monthly management accounts Month-end close activities including journals, accruals and prepayments Balance sheet reconciliations Monthly sales reporting and performance analysis Supporting financial analysis and reporting requirements Whilst the role is primarily focused on management accounting and reporting, we're looking for someone with a flexible and collaborative approach who is happy to support wider finance activities when required. About You We're open to both qualified and qualified-by-experience finance professionals.

More important than qualifications is the ability to perform the role effectively and quickly.

You will have:

Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role Strong month-end accounting experience Experience preparing journals and balance sheet reconciliations Confidence producing and analysing management information Strong Excel skills A proactive, hands-on approach The ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced SME environment Availability at short notice or immediately available If you're looking for a commercially focused interim opportunity where you can make an immediate impact, please get in touch!
