Accounts Assistant – Birmingham Salary up to £35k

This forward thinking manufacturer are looking to grow their team with an Accounts Assistant with strong experience across all transactional finance duties. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth running of our accounts function.

• Processing day-to-day transactional finance activities, including purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Preparing and assisting with VAT, payroll, and other routine financial reporting.
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes to ensure timely and accurate accounts.
• Liaising with internal teams and external clients to resolve queries and maintain accurate records.

• AAT qualified (or equivalent) with solid hands‑on experience in transactional finance.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• A proactive team player who is eager to learn and grow.

• Ongoing study support and encouragement to pursue further accounting qualifications.
