What does a career in Tax actually involve?A career in Tax is about helping both businesses and individuals understand and manage their tax responsibilities while navigating an increasingly complex and evolving tax environment. You'll work with a diverse range of clients, from owner‑managed businesses and large corporate groups to entrepreneurs, high‑net‑worth individuals, families, trusts and international clients. This variety gives you the opportunity to build strong, long‑term relationships and gain a broad understanding of both commercial and personal tax matters.
From an early stage, you'll support work such as preparing tax computations and returns, researching tax legislation and helping clients meet their compliance obligations. As your knowledge and experience develop, you'll gain exposure to a range of advisory projects, including business transactions, restructuring, inheritance tax planning, trusts and estates, succession planning, and international tax matters. Tax is a career that combines technical expertise with commercial awareness, problem‑solving and relationship‑building skills.

As a Tax Associate, you'll:
- Prepare corporation tax computations, personal tax returns and other tax compliance filings.
- Support clients in meeting their tax obligations accurately and on time.
