We're hiring for a Management Accountant on a 12-Month fixed-term contract to support our growing Finance team!
To keep up with our growth in the UK and Ireland, we're looking for a dedicated Management Accountant to assist in supporting financial reporting, business partnering, and continuous improvement across the UK operations. The role will play a key part in strengthening financial control, improving processes, and delivering high-quality analysis to assist with decision-making. This is a 12-Month fixed-term contract.
We're looking for someone with:- A proactive, solution-oriented mentality, taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
- Managing competing priorities effectively and deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy, control, and ongoing improvement
- Commercial awareness, showing proficiency in translating financial data into important business insight
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of financial reporting and controls
- An emphasis on continuous improvement, using automation and standardisation to improve efficiency
- Responsible for reporting financial performance for your business line, including the production and review of monthly management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet), supported by robust variance analysis and clear commentary
- Lead and continuously improve month-end close activities, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines, financial integrity, and completeness of reporting
- Own key finance processes, including bank reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue and intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and sustained improvement throughout all reporting activities
- Handle and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring appropriate controls, accuracy, and timely resolution of reconciling items
- Identify and implement process enhancements to strengthen financial controls, improve efficiency, and enhance reporting capabilities
