The Opportunity A respected and long-established Chartered Accountancy firm based in London is looking to strengthen its US Tax team with the addition of a talented Tax Accountant.
Known for its excellent reputation and diverse client portfolio, the firm offers long-term career prospects, strong professional support, and exposure to a wide range of tax matters. Working closely with experienced International Tax Managers and Partners, you'll manage a portfolio of US and UK personal tax clients while gaining hands-on experience across tax compliance, planning, and advisory projects as your career progresses.
This role is available on either a temporary-to-permanent basis or an initial 6-month contract . It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working available following the probation period. Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of US tax clients, overseeing compliance requirements while maintaining strong client relationships Prepare and review US personal tax returns Build trusted client relationships by providing timely, proactive, and professional tax support Assist Managers and Directors in delivering high-quality tax advice to US-connected individuals based in the UK Prioritise and manage workloads effectively to ensure deadlines are consistently met Work collaboratively with colleagues across the tax team to deliver an exceptional client experience About You To be successful in this position, you will ideally have: A minimum of 2 years' experience within US Tax or International Tax A recognised professional qualification such as EA, ACA, ACCA, ATT, or CTA (preferred) Excellent communication and client management skills The ability to commute to the office within 90 minutes Interested?
