We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Team Administrator to join Dawn House, a seven bedded, purpose-built supported accommodation located on the ANAWIM site in Balsall Heath, Birmingham.
The Dawn House Project will develop a community forensic step‑down accommodation for women from the West Midlands being discharged from secure care. The new service will offer a step‑down, rehabilitative care pathway, providing a holistic model of care in the least restrictive manner possible, supporting timely discharge from inpatient services.
Main duties of the jobThe Team Administrator role is a central role and provides administrative support to the Lead and Teams. Working as a team player, you will need to be highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic with excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. You will need to be able to meet deadlines and be able to work under pressure. You must have the ability to manage your time effectively in order to meet the needs of the service.
A thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and experience of working in a busy office environment is essential.
The post holder will also be required to take comprehensive minutes and transcribe notes from digital dictation. The successful applicant will have an NVQ Level III in Business Admin or equivalent plus relevant experience of working in an administrative role.
