. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Administrator to be based at Ward level at Tamarind Centre, located at Yardley Green.

• Support Ward Managers and their staff with excellent administration skills.
• Handle correspondence, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Process letters and reports.
• Maintain and develop administrative services, providing modern, professional support.
• Alleviate the administrative workload of clinical staff so they can focus on quality patient care.
• Identify areas of improvement and develop administrative and clerical support systems and procedures, consistent with a modern, professional mental health service.

• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent typing/word processing ability.
• Knowledge of Excel and ability to collate, monitor and analyse data from spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of the RIO Patient Clinical System is an advantage but is not essential; full training will be provided.
• Understanding of inpatient services with a genuine interest in working with the client group.
• Ability to manage own workload, use initiative and maintain information governance.
• Team working skills and empathic approach towards people suffering from mental illness.
