Tuesday to Saturday, 6:30am - 9:00pm

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and organised Sample Reception to join a fast‑paced laboratory environment. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑focused, quality‑driven and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Receive, log and book in samples in line with standard operating procedures and quality requirements.
• Prepare samples for analysis, ensuring accuracy, traceability and compliance at all times.
• Arrange sample collections and dispatch, including posting sampling devices to clients when required.
• Provide assistance with off‑site sampling when needed.
• Support the maintenance of laboratory facilities, including working with maintenance and service engineers.
• Maintain a 5S approach to workplace organisation and cleanliness.
• Follow a right‑first‑time approach to ensure high data and sample handling accuracy.

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Flexible, motivated and willing to learn new systems and processes.
• Quality‑focused with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

• Competitive hourly rate of £12.21.
• Full‑time hours with Tues‑Sat schedule.
