Overview

School Administration Assistant. Grade B – 32.50 hours per week (TTO)

8.30am – 3.45pm. Salary: £28,598 - £29,540 (pro rata) - one year fixed contract.

We wish to appoint a School Administration Assistant to join our team. You will need initiative, good interpersonal skills, ICT skills and to be able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Possess excellent administrative/communication skills.
  • Have a professional approach to their work.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils, parents and visitors.
  • Have competent ICT skills.
  • Be efficient, enthusiastic and organised.
  • Work calmly under pressure.
  • Prioritise their workload.
  • Work well in a team and on their own.
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills;
    Maths and English GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience of working in a School Office and SIMS.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (Maths and English GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent).
  • Experience of working in a School Office and SIMS preferred.
Appointments and Dates
  • Closing Date:
    Wednesday 25th February (Midday).
  • Interview Date:

  • Commencement date in role: ASAP following negotiation with successful candidate.
