Facilities Housekeeping Supervisor – 37.5 hours (Full Time)
Working Pattern:
Week 1 - 40
Hours:
Week 2 - 35 hours:
Mon to Fri 14:00-21:00
The Birmingham Women’s Hospital Facilities Department have a vacancy within the housekeeping supervisory department. The post holders will be required to undertake a full range of housekeeping supervisor duties within our busy hospital. Experience is preferred.

The successful candidates will form part of our existing housekeeping management team. Working for BWC Management Services Ltd you will be on the company terms and conditions and not through the trust agenda for change.
The post holders will be directly responsible to the Housekeeping Team Leaders to ensure the trust receives the highest quality of cleaning throughout the hospital site.

Person specificationKnowledge/Experience
- Previous Domestic services experience
- Sound knowledge of cleaning services
- Experience of prioritising work and able to identify priority areas
- Knowledge of staff allocation, rotas and record keeping
- Experience of handling difficult situations and problem solving
- Able to complete absence and sickness records of staff and control annual leave.
- Previous NHS experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Previous experience of working in a team and of training others
- Good team worker
- Able to work with or without supervision
- Reliable, polite and courteous
- Good time keeping
- Smart appearance
- Fair and consistent approach, willing to lead by example
- Able to work on their own initiative
- Previous experience of working with the public
