Business Admin Apprentice

We're looking for a Business Admin Apprentice to join our Transportation Team based in Birmingham, working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration.

Transportation – Build and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people. We provide transport solutions that are sustainable, long‑lasting and promote various methods of transport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day‑to‑day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.

Thimble Mill Lane Depot, Birmingham

Hours:

40 hours per week
Salary: £20,800

How does an apprenticeship work?

As a Business Admin Apprentice you'll be enrolled onto a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the Transportation team to support the overall design, build and maintenance of infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Providing high quality administrative services to the wider team
  • Taking ownership of various projects/programmes and utilising various IT packages
  • Maintaining records and files ensuring that they are stored in the correct manner
  • Planning/organising meetings and travel
What we are looking for
  • GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths and English OR Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English
  • Willing to learn
  • Self‑motivated, punctual and organised
  • Able to communicate clearly, both verbal and written
