BCU is seeking an organised and proactive Assessment Coordinator to support the effective delivery of university assessments. Working closely with academic staff, programme teams and central services, you will help ensure assessment processes run smoothly, accurately and in line with regulations and deadlines.

You will support digital assessment platforms, coordinate invigilation arrangements, maintain accurate records and prepare documentation for exam boards. The role also involves providing frontline support to students and staff, contributing to process improvements, and collaborating with teams such as Quality Assurance and Timetabling. You may also assist with key University events including enrolment, graduation, open days and clearing.

You will have experience in administration or coordination within an academic or professional setting, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail, alongside confidence in using digital platforms and Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Knowledge of university assessment regulations is desirable, although a willingness to learn is equally important.

You should be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Informal queries regarding the role are very welcome and should be directed to Tori Matthews at
