Business Support Assistant – Management Support/PA Team
We are looking for a proactive and self‑motivated Business Support Assistant to join our Management Support/PA Team at Birmingham Children’s Trust. The role supports the leadership team by delivering high‑quality administrative and operational support, allowing leaders to focus on their core responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality administrative support, including organising meetings, minute‑taking, and producing accurate records.
- Collect, collate and verify information from a range of sources, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support business operations within a team environment, including raising purchase orders and other financial processes.
- Communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, maintaining professional standards at all times.
- Prioritise workload, meet tight deadlines and maintain high standards of organisational skill.
- Work proactively and independently, using initiative and flexibility to support senior leaders.
- Use strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills to complete tasks efficiently.
Skills & Qualifications
• Experience or proven ability in administrative support or a business support role.
• Strong organisational, prioritising and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & Working ArrangementsThe role is hybrid and based in Birmingham. Applicants must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham and possess the right‑to‑work documents in the UK. Sponsorship is not supported.
