Role SummaryWe are seeking a Knowledge Transfer Administrator to join our Knowledge Transfer team, supporting the delivery of high‑quality services across the University. In this role, you will support the Head of Knowledge Transfer and the wider KTP team in the delivery and growth of BCU’s expanding KTP portfolio. You will manage end‑to‑end administrative duties, including formal minute‑taking at LMCS with senior stakeholders for all funded KTPs, to ensure services are efficient, compliant, and aligned to University priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for the Head of Knowledge Transfer and the wider KTP team.
- Manage client engagement through SharePoint, CRM, and Outlook.
- Facilitate development of prospects, set up meetings, and progress enquiries.
- Coordinate logistics for events, training sessions, and client meetings.
- Attend KTP LMC meetings to deliver and oversee minute‑taking, recording actions, and delivering concise, accurate minutes to deadline.
- Update, draft, and compile all KTP related paperwork, ensuring due diligence and protocol are followed per IUK guidance and compliance.
- Apply understanding of GDPR and confidentiality requirements when handling sensitive commercial data.
- Disseminate project performance data to a wide range of KTP stakeholders, including internal schools/departments and external SMEs, CEOs, funding bodies, and others.
- Experience managing diaries.
- Track record of professional business administrative duties in an externally facing, client‑centric environment.
- Experience attending meetings for formal minute‑taking and administrative procedures.
- Knowledge of computer packages such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Ability to build confidence, credibility, and rapport with colleagues, partners, and external customers/clients.
- Excellent communication skills; able to communicate professionally and effectively across stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of KTP fundamentals (programme, processes).
