About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised School Administrative Officer to join a welcoming primary school located in the B9 area of Birmingham. This is a fixed-term position running until the end of October 2026, with the potential for extension depending on staffing needs. The successful candidate will be confident working in a busy school environment and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- General school administration and front‑office support
- Managing pupil data and school records accurately
- Handling attendance processes and communications with parents/carers
- Supporting finance‑related tasks, including payments and reporting
- Acting as a first point of contact for visitors, staff, and families
- Previous experience working in a school administration role (primary setting preferred)
- Confident and competent use of Parent Pay
- Strong working knowledge of Bromcom
- Excellent IT and data management skills
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work calmly and professionally in a busy school office environment
