Band 4 Team administrator - Addiction Service Team

Ensure efficient and effective administration, secretarial, clinical appointment and prescribing service for SIAS. Provide a solid multi‑disciplinary service.

• Reliable data entry into ILLY Data System, Pharmoutcomes and other computer systems; support and train administrative staff on these systems.
• Act as the single point of contact within BSMHFT and partner agencies.
• Support the Team Manager and staff in communicating patient information within the department and to other internal and external agencies.
• Supervise and support lower grade staff, including regular supervision and appraisal.
• Cover a range of administration tasks independently within broad guidelines, including secretarial, administrative, prescribing service, big‑hand and IT skills.
• Manage systems to support clinical treatments.
• Provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to SIAS.
• Undertake delegated administrative tasks on behalf of the Team Manager and manage the day‑to‑day running and control of administrative and secretarial services of the team.
• Interpret and share relevant data across various drug treatment providers (probation, court teams, police, PCTs) within BSMHFT and partner agencies.
• Enter data with high accuracy, interpret and understand data input; analyse BSMHFT data reports and systems to share information across the SIAS programme.
