Position: Executive PA to the Headteacher – Independent Day School
A prestigious independent day school in Birmingham is
seeking a highly professional and discreet Executive Personal
Assistant to support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
This is a pivotal role within a well-established and academically
successful school known for its strong pastoral culture, high
standards and refined operational structure. The school combines
historic character with modern facilities and educates pupils from
primary through to Sixth Form. The Headteacher’s office plays a
central role in governance, stakeholder engagement and strategic
planning — and this position sits at the centre of that work. The
Role As Executive PA, you will provide comprehensive, confidential
and strategic administrative support to the Headteacher while
acting as a key liaison between leadership, governors, parents and
external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: •
Managing the Headteacher’s complex diary, prioritising meetings and
commitments
• Preparing high-level correspondence, reports and
board papers
• Coordinating governor meetings, agendas and minutes

• Handling sensitive communication with professionalism and
discretion
• Supporting strategic projects and whole-school events

• Acting as a central point of contact for senior external visitors

• Maintaining confidential records in line with GDPR requirements
You will work closely with other senior administrative staff to
ensure seamless operations across the school. The Environment This

• Have significant PA
or executive support experience (school experience desirable) •
Demonstrate exceptional organisational and diary management skills

• Possess excellent written communication and minute-taking ability

• Be highly discreet and confident handling confidential matters •
Be proactive, calm under pressure and solution-focused Experience
supporting senior leaders or working within an independent or
