🏫 About the Role
Our client, a well-established secondary school, is looking for an experienced and professional School Receptionist to join their busy front office team.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors and staff, so excellent communication skills, a friendly approach and the ability to remain calm in a busy school environment are essential.
Previous experience using Bromcom is essential for this position.

📋 Key Responsibilities
 
* Managing the school's busy reception and welcoming visitors
 
* Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with enquiries professionally
 
* Signing visitors in and out of the school
 
* Supporting with pupil attendance and registration administration
 
* Using Bromcom to update and maintain accurate pupil records
 
* Managing emails and general correspondence
 
* Liaising with parents, pupils, staff and external visitors
 
* Maintaining accurate records and completing general administrative tasks
 
* Supporting the wider school administration team when required
 
* Following school safeguarding and visitor procedures at all times

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
 
* Previous experience working in a school reception or administration role
 
* Hands-on experience using Bromcom – essential
 
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 
* A professional, welcoming and approachable manner
 
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
 
* The ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
 
* Good IT skills and confidence using school management systems
 
* An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding
 
* The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
