The Best Connection Birmingham are currently recruiting for our client based in the Aston area of Birmingham for Administrators
. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business supporting a busy packaging and compliance function, with immediate starts available.
We are looking for organised, detail-focused individuals with strong administrative skills who can confidently manage documentation, data entry, and supplier communication within a fast-paced environment.
The role of the Administrator:
- Creating and maintaining packaging records and product documentation.
- Collecting technical information from suppliers, including drawings, material specifications, and compliance documents.
- Preparing and updating Declarations of Conformity and ensuring all required documentation is uploaded correctly.
- Reviewing documentation for accuracy before submission for approval.
- Tracking approvals and ensuring compliance deadlines are met.
- Maintaining accurate records and databases.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to obtain information and resolve documentation queries.
- Supporting the Packaging Technologist with administrative and compliance-related tasks.
- Ensuring all documentation is available and completed before products are dispatched.
- General administration duties as required.
Personal skills required:
- Previous administration experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Comfortable working with documentation, data entry, and compliance records.
- Previous warehouse administration, logistics administration, compliance, or quality administration experience would be advantageous.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday
- 37.5 hours per week
- 09:00 - 17:00
Duration:
- Initial 2-month assignment.
- Opportunity for one successful candidate to be extended into a longer-term role based on performance.
Hourly rate:
- £13.51 per hour
