Community Governance Administrator-12 Months
An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to work within our Community Governance Team on a 12 month contract based at Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre. To provide a comprehensive effective and efficient administrative support service to Community Nursing teams. To liaise with other Health Care Professionals in order to assist with seamless transition of patient care. The post holder will be required to obtain information from Health Care Professionals to ensure that high-quality care is provided.
You will be a part of small team, you will be an adaptable and confident team member who also possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be resilient and enjoy working closely with a team in a demanding environment.
Main duties of the job- Undertake administration/secretarial duties required for the smooth running of the office that are specific to the role.
- Undertake general office duties as required, e.g. typing, data inputting/extracting from systems, updating databases, filing, scanning and copying in line with trust policies and procedures.
- Arrange appointments and meetings, as required, making appropriate arrangements e.g. booking venues, sending out invites, organising equipment.
- Provide a secretarial service to team/department meetings, including the preparation and distribution of agendas and papers, chasing actions, taking minutes, exporting Audits from Amat, report from Datix for Incidents, complaints, risk and assurance actions, proof reading, formatting and support with procedural Documentation.
- To manage the recruitment process for all posts within community nursing teams. This will include uploading vacancies onto NHS Jobs, checking job descriptions and adverts, preparing interview packs, liaising with both managers and candidates, undertaking employment checks.
- Update and maintain information systems used including NHS Jobs, ESR, TRAC.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
- NVQ3 in Business Administration/ Customer Service or equivalent experience
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work with confidential material and maintain confidentiality
- Confident when working with staff at all levels, internal and external
- Administration experience within a customer care environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Understanding of confidentiality and Data Protection Act
- Demonstrates working knowledge of computer packages including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
- Able to respond quickly in a rapid working environment
- Able to organise and prioritise own and other workloads to changing and often tight deadlines
- Previous experience working in the NHS/Healthcare environment
