Birmingham, West Midlands Internal Sales Administrator required. Our client is seeking an organised and reliable Internal Sales Administrator to join their established sales team within an engineering and manufacturing environment. This is a small, close-knit operation, and the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the department. The primary responsibility will be processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all relevant information is recorded and orders are handled within required timescales.

Following a period of training, the successful candidate will also take on responsibility for handling incoming sales enquiries and providing customer support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment, strong IT skills and a good understanding of customer order processes. The successful candidate will need good communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work closely with colleagues in a small team.

Internal Sales Administrator

Position Overview Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is recorded correctly. Supporting the sales team with day-to-day administrative duties and order processing. Maintaining accurate customer records and sales documentation. Handling incoming sales enquiries following completion of training. Responding to customer queries professionally and providing appropriate assistance. Liaising closely with colleagues across the business to ensure orders and customer requirements are managed effectively.

Using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, to support daily administration. Ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all administrative tasks. Internal Sales Administrator

Position Requirements Previous experience in an administration, sales administration or order processing role, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Good written and verbal English communication skills. Strong IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Good computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems and software. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. A friendly and professional telephone manner, with the confidence to communicate with customers.

Ability to work effectively as part of a small, close-knit team. Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
