Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven Business Development Executive to join our growing Birmingham team.
This role focuses on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while building strong, long‑term client relationships. You will play a key role in driving company growth through lead generation, account management, and delivering outstanding customer engagement.
This opportunity is ideal for a proactive professional with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, outbound calls, emails, and meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Manage client accounts to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and tailored proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts using CRM systems.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams for smooth client onboarding.
- Produce performance reports and contribute to business strategy planning.
- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
- Strong lead generation and new business development expertise.
- Solid understanding of business strategy, sales techniques, and market analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets in a performance‑driven environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- Competitive salary: £34,000 – £38,000 per annum.
