Job Description & How to Apply Below
As a Senior Social Media Manager (B2B) at Pull The Pin, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive Linked In-led social media strategies for our portfolio of B2B clients. As the lead voice on social, you will own the strategy, manage and mentor the social team, and drive measurable results through targeted B2B campaigns — with a clear opportunity to grow into a Head of Social as the agency scales.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Own and lead the development and execution of a comprehensive B2B Social & Content strategy aligned with the overall marketing objectives of both Pull The Pin and individual clients
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop Linked In‑first social media strategies that align with business development and lead generation objectives
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, buyer personas, and competitive landscapes within B2B sectors
- Lead and mentor the Social Media Executives, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Stay updated on Linked In platform developments, algorithm changes, and emerging B2B content trends to incorporate innovative approaches
- Create compelling, thought leadership‑driven content with Linked In as the primary platform, tailored to B2B audiences and business decision‑makers
- Develop content calendars for clients ensuring timely, consistent posting that aligns with sales cycles and business objectives
- Curate an image library and oversee the creation of social media creative assets, including carousels, document posts, and short‑form video content optimised for Linked In
- Lead personal brand development for senior client stakeholders, including founders, directors, and subject matter experts
- Make data‑driven recommendations for optimising B2B social strategies, with a focus on pipeline contribution and lead quality
- Utilise Linked In analytics and supporting tools to measure and analyse the performance of organic social campaigns
- Provide insightful reports to clients and internal stakeholders, with actionable recommendations for improvement
- Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement across content formats, posting cadence, and audience targeting
- Analyse data and derive actionable insights to continually refine B2B social strategies and improve performance
- Someone who is forward thinking, with excellent communication, copywriting and creative skills — with a particular flair for writing in a B2B voice that engages rather than bores
- A proven track‑record in B2B Social Media Marketing, ideally within an agency environment, with 3+ years of experience and confidence operating at a senior level
- Strong understanding of Linked In's content ecosystem, including organic strategies, employee advocacy, and Linked In newsletters
- Experience working with platforms like InDesign, Canva, and Cap Cut, with an eye for professional, on‑brand creative
- Deep knowledge of Linked In best practices, platform capabilities, and the nuances of reaching senior business audiences
- Experience primarily in B2B, with an understanding of longer sales cycles, multiple stakeholder buying decisions, and how social fits into a wider revenue strategy
- Comfortable owning a function, making strategic decisions independently, and presenting confidently to clients
- A positive thinker with a self‑starter approach
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Superb organisational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to juggle priorities and thrive in a fast‑paced and demanding environment
