A well‑established and growing communications and mailing services provider is looking for a Business Development Manager to support the continued expansion of their Postal Collection division
. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward‑thinking organisation that is investing heavily in growth and infrastructure, with a strong reputation for delivering reliable, secure, and cost‑effective mailing solutions to businesses across the UK.

The business operates a high‑volume postal collection service, currently handling between 20,000 and 30,000 items per day
, and is experiencing significant demand from organisations looking to optimise their mailing processes and reduce postage costs. As a result, they are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to help identify new opportunities.

In this role, you will take ownership of new business development within the Postal Collection service, focusing on organisations that generate high volumes of daily or transactional mail. You will be responsible for identifying prospects, engaging decision‑makers, and delivering tailored solutions that align with client needs. The role offers a consultative sales approach, working closely with internal operational teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long‑term client success.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a field‑based environment, managing their own pipeline, and developing opportunities from initial contact through to close. This role would suit someone who thrives in a growth environment and enjoys building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and delivering tangible commercial results.
