Requirements- We require direct experience working on Finance and/or HR system implementation projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- We require experience leading and engaging individuals and teams to deliver requirements quickly and effectively, including holding others accountable for their responsibilities.
- We require excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information to varied audiences, build trust, manage expectations, influence at all levels, and work autonomously.
- We require a solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work accurately, manage ambiguity, and adapt to change.
- We require the ability to collaborate across multiple projects and connect work streams as needed.
- We require knowledge of project and programme management methodologies such as APM or MSP.
- We prefer experience working in a regulatory or governmental organisation.
- We prefer Lean Six Sigma certification.
- We require the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
- We identify and manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, both internally and externally, to support critical delivery decisions.
- We lead elicitation and evaluation of requirements across current and target states, identify opportunities for improvement, analyse the impact of change, and define success measures.
- We document conceptual models to support strategic planning and decision making.
- We research and analyse how business areas operate across people, organisation, processes, information, data, and technology.
- We define and assure analysis artefacts.
- We work with external suppliers and technical teams to ensure new systems meet user, business, and technical needs and align with organisational goals.
- We proactively identify and resolve issues, influence stakeholders, and manage relationships effectively.
- We advise on business scenarios and develop acceptance criteria so requirements can be traced to system functionality.
- We support data migration strategies by analysing data requirements for new systems.
- We translate analysis artefacts to support procurement processes.
- We support project teams and the wider analysis community through learning, development, coaching, and mentoring to embed good analysis practice.

We are the Gambling Commission, the regulatory authority responsible for overseeing and regulating gambling activities in the United Kingdom. Our work is to ensure gambling is fair, open, and free from crime, while protecting vulnerable people from harm. This is a fixed-term, full-time hybrid role for 18 months, based in our Birmingham office at least one day per week, supporting large transformation programmes across Finance and HR as part of our Corporate Systems Programme.
