Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We are looking for an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Advisor to join our Human Resources team at Birmingham Children’s Trust. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing our EDI agenda, helping to create a culture where inclusion is embedded across everything we do.
Key responsibilities- Providing professional advice and guidance on EDI and equalities legislation
- Supporting EDI audits, reporting, and performance monitoring
- Designing and delivering inclusion-focused programmes and initiatives
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive engagement
- Supporting staff networks and promoting a culture of inclusion across the Trust
- Supporting the delivery and implementation of the Trust’s EDI strategy and action plans
You will be passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion, with the ability to influence positive cultural change across an organisation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience of analysing data, producing reports, and monitoring performance
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- A good understanding of employment law and equalities legislation
- Experience supporting or implementing EDI initiatives or strategies
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
- A collaborative approach, with experience working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
