Senior Business Analyst

Hybrid (Birmingham)

Client‑Facing Consulting Role

What You’ll Do
  • Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and business analysis activities.
  • Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analyse and improve business processes, systems, and data flows.
  • Define and document business and non‑functional requirements.
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and user journeys.
  • Support Agile and Waterfall project delivery.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and UX teams.
  • Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to the BA practice.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years’ Business Analysis experience, ideally within an IT consultancy environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge of BPMN, process modelling, user stories, requirements management, and data analysis.
  • Experience with tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Jira, and Git.
  • Technical awareness of APIs, integrations, and digital solutions.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills.
Desirable
  • Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, Pensions, Public Sector, or other regulated industries.
  • Business Analysis certifications such as BCS, IIBA, CBAP, or PMI‑PBA.
  • Experience using AI‑enabled tools to support analysis and documentation.
