Birmingham Hybrid Working
Contract:
Initial 3-Month Contract
Hays are working in partnership with a local council to recruit two Business Analysts on interim contracts. These roles will play a pivotal part in shaping how the organisation operates in the future.
Working within a high-profile organisation design and transformation programme, you will provide critical insight and analysis to support the development and implementation of a new operating model. This will include contributing to the design and establishment of functions across systems, processes, and ways of working.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation, participating in facilitated workshops led by an Organisation Design Lead. You will help identify current challenges, uncover opportunities for improvement, and translate requirements into clear, actionable outcomes. Your work will directly influence organisational structure, service delivery, and day-to-day operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale, meaningful change, helping to build a more effective, efficient, and future-ready organisation.
Key Responsibilities and Highlights:
Work at the heart of a strategic transformation programme
Support operating model design across people, process, and technology
Engage with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Drive insight-led decision-making and continuous improvement
About You:
You will be a proactive and analytical thinker with experience in business analysis within complex environments. You will be comfortable working with stakeholders, facilitating discussions, and translating business needs into practical solutions.
Due to the nature of the role and involvement in full-day workshops, there will be a requirement to be on-site regularly. However, there will be flexibility for hybrid working between key meetings and workshops.
If you enjoy solving complex problems, driving organisational change, and being part of a high-performing team, we'd love to hear from you, so please send your updated CV!
