Title: Procurement Manager

Sector: Public Sector Procurement

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)

Salary & Package: £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience + private healthcare, pension and a further benefits package

Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a well regarded non-profit organisation operating within the housing / public sector to recruit a Procurement Manager into their growing procurement team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the business during a period of significant growth and investment, supporting housing sector clients via the delivery of procurement frameworks and working with suppliers across the sector.

They are looking to speak with procurement professionals who have experience delivering end-to-end public sector procurements and who enjoy building relationships, managing multiple work streams, and operating within a fast-paced environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement projects from strategy development through to contract award.
  • Manage regulated procurement exercises, including RFPs, tenders, evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection.
  • Ensure compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
  • Provide expert procurement advice and guidance to stakeholders throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and suppliers, acting as a trusted procurement partner.

Experience & Requirements

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement projects within a public sector or regulated environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23) and Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR
    2015).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.
