Business Capabilities Lead
to
shape, prioritise, and govern business demand, ensuring initiatives are aligned to strategic objectives and deliver measurable business value. You will lead a team of Capability Product Owners, the role drives consistent ways of working, process simplification, and benefits realisation across the business systems portfolio.

As a Business Capabilities Lead, you will:
- Lead and develop the Capability Product Owner community, providing direction, coaching, mentoring, and support.
- Act as the primary front door for business demand, ensuring requests are captured, assessed, prioritised, and aligned to strategic objectives.
- Own the business capability roadmap and prioritisation process, ensuring initiatives are aligned to business strategy and deliver measurable business value.
- Lead the review and optimisation of end-to-end business capabilities and processes, challenging existing ways of working, driving simplification, standardisation, and adoption of best practice, and ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business value and benefits rather than replicating legacy processes, organisational complexity, or system constraints.
- Drive value-based prioritisation, ensuring investment and delivery effort is focused on the highest-value opportunities.
- Establish and maintain consistent ways of working, governance, standards, and best practices across capability ownership and business analysis.
- Ensure Capability Product Owners work effectively with technical delivery teams to translate business needs into deliverable solutions.
- Manage cross-capability dependencies, conflicts, and prioritisation decisions to optimise business outcomes across the organisation.
- Experience with in Telecommunications, IT Services, or another large, complex enterprise environment.
- Proven experience leading Product Owners.
- Strong experience shaping business demand, prioritisation frameworks, roadmaps, and business cases.
- Demonstrable experience driving business value, benefits realisation, and outcome-focused delivery.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across customer, operational, and commercial functions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience working with internal delivery teams and third-party suppliers to deliver business change and transformation.
