The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our established Business Analysis team.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and clients, you will be responsible for defining, analysing and managing business requirements across multiple concurrent projects and initiatives. You will support the full project lifecycle, from initial scoping and business case development through to implementation, testing and benefits realisation.
The role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of technology and transformation programmes, supporting strategic business change while ensuring solutions deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the end-to-end business analysis process across a variety of projects.
- Define project scope, objectives and success criteria.
- Identify and articulate business benefits and support the development of robust business cases.
- Elicit, analyse, document and manage business and technical requirements.
- Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support business change activities and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure requirements remain traceable to business outcomes and benefits.
- Contribute to test planning and support user acceptance testing activities.
- Measure and support benefits realisation following implementation.
- Work with Project Managers and Lead Business Analysts to determine the most appropriate analysis approach.
- Take ownership of analysis activities and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings and complex group discussions.
- Influence decision-making and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Deliver presentations and recommendations to senior leadership teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve business performance through technology and process change.
- Proven commercial experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within Legal, IT or Professional Services environments.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practice.
- Experience of gathering, documenting and managing complex requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to produce high-quality documentation, process maps, presentations and other project artefacts.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working directly with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
