The Role
The Bid Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the identification, tracking, distribution, and management of new business opportunities across the UK business, and for the integrity of the systems and records that underpin this. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, good communication skills, confidence engaging with colleagues at all levels, and the ability to manage recurring tasks proactively. This role is responsible for ensuring that opportunities are captured accurately, distributed promptly, monitored consistently, and tracked through to decision, submission, outcome, or closure, and expected to maintain live records, elevate issues promptly, and continuously improve the systems used to manage opportunity information.
WorkEnvironment

CompensationSteer is committed to ensuring that all its employees are compensated a fair, liveable wage. All initial compensation, regardless of location, may be subject to change as skills, abilities, internal equity and geographic location are taken into account. We are seeking an organized, proactive, and results-driven Bid Coordinator to join our Bids Team. In this role, you will take full ownership of opportunity sourcing, portal submission coordination, pipeline and framework management, and key bid reporting. As Steer continues to grow and expand, you will act as a strong central point of contact (POC) between cross-functional teams, clearing operational backlogs and optimizing our bidding processes to help us win more bids.
Key Responsibilities- Portal Management & Submission Coordination:
Maintain key sourcing portals, monitor alerts, manage user access, and act as the main point of contact for consultants and Project Managers to coordinate and execute timely, compliant proposal submissions - Opportunity Sourcing & Distribution:
Monitor external portals, opportunity alerts, and inboxes to triage and distribute relevant opportunities to consultancy colleagues within 24 hours, ensuring full context is provided - Pipeline & Tracker Management:
