Quantity Surveyor
We are currently seeking a driven and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor to become part of our expanding team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing project finances, and supporting the successful delivery of construction projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial management of projects and ensuring financial performance is maintained. Your responsibilities will include:
Tracking the progress of contracts and identifying any variations that may impact project costs or delivery schedules
Working closely with Contract Managers to clarify project requirements and specifications
Reviewing and approving subcontractor valuations and payments
Supporting the management and monitoring of project budgets
Producing and maintaining cash flow forecasts for allocated projects
Preparing and submitting monthly payment applications to clients or their representatives
Compiling monthly valuation and financial progress reports
Issuing invoices for certified amounts and following up to ensure timely payment
Participating in meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships
Contributing to the development of procurement plans
Assisting with the preparation and evaluation of estimates, bids, and tender submissions within strict deadlines
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally:
Have previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar commercial role
Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and financial management skills
Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Be well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
