Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction and commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work on a range of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects while supporting cost management and contractual operations from pre‑construction through to final account.

• Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
• Managing project costs throughout the construction lifecycle
• Conducting valuations and variations
• Negotiating contracts and procurement of subcontractors/suppliers
• Preparing interim valuations and final accounts
• Monitoring project expenditure and identifying cost‑saving opportunities
• Ensuring projects remain within budget and contractual compliance
• Liaising with clients, site teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Producing regular commercial reports for senior management

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or civil engineering
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost control
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial software packages
• Full UK driving licence preferred
