A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Technical Coordinator or Technical Manager to join a growing, design-focused residential developer with an impressive pipeline of high-quality housing and apartment schemes across the Midlands.

This is a pivotal role within a collaborative and ambitious technical team, reporting directly to the Head of Technical and working closely with senior leadership across the business. You will play a key role in delivering complex, multi-phase developments from pre-construction through to completion.

Competitive salary: £60,000 - £90,000

Performance bonus:
Up to 20%

Car allowance: £5,000 - £7,000

As Technical Manager, you will take ownership of the technical delivery of multiple residential schemes, ensuring projects are well coordinated, commercially viable, and delivered efficiently.

You will work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to drive programme performance, design quality, and buildability across a varied portfolio of developments.

• Manage and coordinate all technical aspects of residential developments from pre-construction through to completion
• Lead design development and ensure compliance with planning conditions, building regulations, and technical standards
• Appoint, manage, and coordinate external consultants and design teams
• Drive programme efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and buildability across schemes
  
  Act as a key link between technical, commercial, and construction teams
• Support the successful delivery of both housing and apartment developments
• Ensure timely issue of construction information and support site teams throughout delivery
• Resolve technical and design-related issues during the construction phase

You will be involved in a strong and diverse development pipeline, including:

• Large‑scale residential and apartment-led schemes
• Multi‑phase developments across the Midlands
• Over 700 units currently in planning or under construction

We are looking for a proactive and commercially aware Technical professional who thrives in a fast‑paced development environment and enjoys taking ownership of projects.

• Proven experience in a Technical Manager or Senior Technical Coordinator role within residential development
• Exposure to both housing and apartment schemes is highly desirable
• Background working for a developer, consultancy, or main contractor

• Strong technical and construction knowledge
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Confident working autonomously and driving projects forward
• Commercially aware with a practical, delivery-focused mindset
