Basildon, Essex (South East) Salary: £34,000 - £40,000
Contract:
Permanent | Full-time An established asbestos consultancy with more than three decades of industry experience is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join its Basildon-based team. Key Responsibilities Undertaking Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSG
264 Identifying and assessing asbestos-containing materials across varied site types Producing accurate, compliant, and well-presented survey reports Communicating professionally with clients, contractors, and internal colleagues Managing workloads and project deadlines while maintaining technical standards Ensuring all work complies with current legislation, HSE guidance, and best practice Candidate Requirements BOHS P402 (or equivalent qualification) Demonstrable experience as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Full UK driving licence For further information or to apply, contact Aidan Morgan or send your CV to for immediate consideration.
