Mitie Fire Protection is an established, accredited business within Mitie FS UK Ltd, delivering passive fire protection and fire door installation, remediation, and maintenance across the UK. We’re growing — and we’re looking for a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team. We will fully support your training and progression!

You’ll play a key part in helping us deliver excellence to our clients by managing project costs, supporting commercial decisions, and maintaining strong financial control from tender through to completion.

• Preparing and reviewing tender documentation, cost plans, and valuations
• Managing applications for payment, variations, and final accounts
• Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management
• Supporting contract negotiations and maintaining strong client relationships
• Ensuring compliance with company processes and third‑party accreditations (FIRAS, ASFP, etc.)
• Collaborating closely with Operations and Finance to track project performance

• Experience with in passive fire is beneficial but not essential - we can show you the ropes!
• A strong understanding of commercial processes, contracts, and cost management
• Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data and reports
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Someone proactive, professional, and ready to grow within a supportive team
