An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and forward‑thinking construction consultancy delivering projects across a range of sectors. This role offers the chance to work on varied schemes while gaining exposure across both pre and post‑contract stages.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of projects, working closely with senior team members while continuing to develop professionally within a supportive environment.
Quantity Surveyor - Job OverviewThe successful candidate will support the delivery of full quantity surveying services across multiple projects, from initial feasibility through to final account.
You will play a key role in cost management, procurement, and commercial reporting, while building strong relationships with clients and project teams.
Key Duties- Deliver pre and post‑contract quantity surveying services across multiple projects
- Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies and Bills of Quantities
- Assist with procurement, tendering and subcontractor management
- Manage valuations, variations and final accounts
- Support commercial reporting including CVRs and cash flow forecasts
- Assist in preparing claims, extensions of time and loss & expense submissions
- Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants throughout project life cycles
- Attend meetings and contribute to successful project delivery
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
- Proven experience within a contractor or consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of pre and post‑contract duties
- Experience in procurement, cost management and contract administration
- Commercially aware with good negotiation skills
- Strong communication and organisational ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Able to manage multiple projects and work both independently and within a team
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE)

- Full‑time, permanent position
