Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a specialist contractor delivering high-quality fire protection solutions across the UK, are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or further develop their career within a niche and highly regulated sector, working across fire protection projects.

The Role You will work closely with the commercial and operational teams, supporting the financial and contractual management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. The role offers strong exposure to all aspects of quantity surveying within a supportive and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities Assist with the commercial management of fire protection projects Support cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting Prepare and manage valuations, variations, and final accounts Work closely with project managers and engineers to monitor financial performance Assist with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers Ensure contracts are administered effectively and in line with company procedures Help identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities What They're Looking For Assistant or Intermediate level Quantity Surveyors will be considered

Experience with in mechanical, electrical, sprinkler systems, or passive fire protection is preferred Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying Strong attention to detail and developing commercial awareness Eagerness to learn and progress within a specialist sector Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively The Business Our client has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable and compliant fire protection solutions across a range of sectors.
