Your new companyYou will be joining a well-established and highly respected contractor based in Birmingham with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects within the water sector. This multi-accredited contractor delivers clean and waste water capital programmes directly for Severn Trent Water and is well-known for its collaborative culture, customer-focused approach and commitment to developing its people. Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of AMP8 projects, they are actively seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Birmingham office with hybrid and flexible working.

Your new roleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of water infrastructure projects across the Severn Trent Water framework. Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing project costs from inception through to final account
• Preparing and submitting applications for payment
• Administering subcontractor accounts, payments and variations
• Producing cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projections
