Quantity Surveyor

I'm currently working with a well-established design and build contractor that's looking to bring an experienced Quantity Surveyor into the team.

The business has built a strong reputation delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across the hospitality, leisure and commercial sectors. They have a healthy pipeline of work, a supportive commercial team and are continuing to grow, so it's a good opportunity for someone looking for long-term progression.

The role will see you involved from pre-construction right through to final account, managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects while working closely with clients, subcontractors and the wider project team.

What you'll be doing:

Managing project costs from start to finish.
Preparing take-offs, Bills of Quantities and Scopes of Work.
Procuring subcontractors and suppliers.
Producing and managing procurement schedules.
Preparing and issuing subcontract packages.
Carrying out site visits.
Managing valuations, variations and final accounts.
Producing CVRs and monitoring project profitability.
Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects remain commercially on track.
Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.

What they're looking for:

Previous Quantity Surveying experience within fit-out, refurbishment or construction.
Confident managing multiple projects at different stages.
Strong commercial awareness with good negotiation skills.
Someone who can work independently but is equally happy collaborating with the wider team.
A proactive approach and the ability to build strong working relationships
