Senior Quantity Surveyor | Birmingham | £65,000–£70,000
I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing Property Services team in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially strong QS who is looking for a role with long-term stability, responsibility and genuine progression. The successful candidate will be joining a business delivering a major Birmingham programme across planned works and property maintenance, with significant growth expected across the commercial team.
The Role- Managing commercial performance across planned works and refurbishment programmes
- Cost management, forecasting and commercial reporting
- Subcontractor procurement and management
- Valuations, payments and final accounts
- Contract administration and change management
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered commercially and efficiently
I’m particularly interested in speaking with experienced Quantity Surveyors / Senior Quantity Surveyors who have worked within:
Property Services | Planned Maintenance | Social Housing | Refurbishment | Main Contracting | General Construction
For this position, you’ll need to be comfortable operating independently and taking ownership of your commercial responsibilities. Technical capability is important, but just as importantly, the business is looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a genuine desire to build a long-term career.
